Answering your business line
TeliTask answers the calls that ring your number: directions, opening hours, what you stock, and taking a message for everything else.
Who uses it: Showrooms, shops, clinics, rentals and offices where one or two people answer the phone.
How it works
- Give TeliTask your facts: location, hours, products and prices. You approve each one before it is used.
- Write the greeting and what it should offer, for example “I can help with our hours, our location, what we stock, or take a message.”
- Forward your number to the TeliTask number from your own phone: every call, only when you are busy, or only when you do not answer.
- Check the Calls page for messages and callers who need a person.
What a call sounds like
- TeliTask
- Thank you for calling Acme Store. I’m Acme’s AI assistant. I can help with our hours, our location, what we stock, or take a message.
- Caller
- Where exactly are you?
- TeliTask
- We’re on Mombasa Road, next to the petrol station, open until 6 today. Shall I describe the way in?
- Caller
- No, that’s fine. Thanks.
What it can do today
- Answer from the facts you have approved, and nothing else. It says it does not know rather than guessing.
- Say it is an AI assistant, in the greeting or whenever it is asked.
- Take a message with the caller’s name, number and what they need.
- Recognise someone it called recently and pick up where that call left off.
- Use a different script for each of your numbers.
- Pass callers it does not recognise straight to a number you choose, before it answers.
What it cannot do yet
- Put a caller through to a person in the middle of a call. Today it takes a message and lists the call for someone to ring back.
- Block spam callers or limit how often one number can call.
- Send the customer a text or WhatsApp message after the call.
What you get after each call
Every call with a one-line summary. Messages and callers who asked for a person are listed under Needs you.
