Confirming deliveries and orders
Before a delivery goes out, TeliTask calls each customer to confirm they will be there, the address and how they will pay.
Who uses it: Online shops, distributors and anyone who delivers to a customer’s door.
How it works
- Write a script once: what to confirm, and what each answer means, such as confirmed, change the time or cancel.
- Each morning, add the day’s orders: upload a file, paste a list, or send them from your own system.
- Start the round. TeliTask calls each customer within your calling hours and tries again later if nobody answers.
- Open the Calls page. Confirmed orders are done; the ones that need a person are at the top.
What a call sounds like
- TeliTask
- Hello Grace, I’m calling from Acme Store about your order of a blender. Is today between 2 and 5 still good for delivery?
- Customer
- Today I’m not at home. Can it come tomorrow morning?
- TeliTask
- Sure. Tomorrow between 9 and 12, to the same address in Kilimani?
- Customer
- Yes, that works.
- TeliTask
- Done. The rider will call when he is close. Thank you, Grace.
What it can do today
- Call hundreds of customers from one list, many at a time.
- Use each order’s own details in the call: the item, the amount, the address.
- Take a new time or a changed address and write it down for your team.
- Try again when nobody answers, as many times and as far apart as you choose.
- Run the same round every weekday from a saved list.Rolling out
- Speak English or Swahili, whichever the customer answers in.
What it cannot do yet
- Change the order in your shop system by itself. It sends what the customer said to your system, which makes the change.
- Read a list from an Excel file. Save it as CSV first.
- Send the customer a text or WhatsApp message after the call.
What you get after each call
One line per customer: confirmed, moved, cancelled or no answer, with the new time or address it was given. Anything a person must handle is listed under Needs you.
